Our last competition of the year is an opportunity to show your best recent work.
Members can enter two colour prints, two mono prints and two PDIs; the full rules about which images are eligible are on the website and shown here:
Each member may enter a maximum of two digital images, two colour prints and two monochrome prints of any subject.  All images submitted must represent new work, preferably taken during the last 12 months.  Specifically, no image should have appeared in any event or publication more than 1 year before the competition, nor should it have previously been used in an event organised by a PAGB affiliated body, other than during the current competition year.  The entries will be judged in the “Open” category.
As usual, Shelagh will be giving her expert views on each image, but this year members will be able to vote for their favourite images- more details on the evening.
Chris Gibbins will be collecting the titles of prints and also organising the PDI part of the evening. Please send your print titles to Chris at cjgib62 AT gmail.com stating whether each is colour or mono. Also email your resized PDIs to Chris. Please do this for all entries by Wednesday at the latest.
Once again the Club has been asked to mount an exhibition of prints in the 35 Ock Street cafe in September. This is an opportunity to raise the profile of the Club in the town and has been much appreciated by the cafe for several years. If you are happy to do so, please be prepared to leave your prints at the end of the evening for possible selection for this exhibition. All prints will be returned by the end of the exhibition in late October.
Finally, don’t forget the AGM is the following Thursday, the 22nd June.
